Rob Brennan from 100 Mile House will be back this year to bring us lessons from the Bible. Rob is an itinerant Preacher and Bible Teacher who travels across North America speaking in Churches and Camps. In addition, Rob has also spent time overseas preaching in India.

Come to Camp this summer; bring a friend make a friend. A week at Camp will be a week you will never forget.

1. Date

YMOAC runs June 30 to July 6th. We leave Morning Star Bible Camp by bus at 1:00 pm on first day and arrive back at Morning Star Bible Camp at 12:00 pm on last day

2. Location

The seeting is beautiful Bouleau Lake, approximately 1.5 hours from Morning Star Bible Camp. Travel by camp bus along Westside Road to Wightman Creek and turn unto Bouleau Lake Road and go for 25Km.

The Bouleau Lake location has a large cabin equipped with sleeping, full kitchen and dining/chapel room. Three separate cabin type sleeping accommodations are on site which consist of wood floor, canvas covered walls with bunks with mattresses for sleeping. Running water is on site and electricity from a generator.

3. Activities

• Fly tying – Fly fishing – Fly tying instruction
• Boating (with adult) – Camp fire – and more…..

*Life jackets, fishing equipment and other equipment to enjoy these activities are provided.

4.  Clothing

Bring adequate clothing changes and footwear; be prepared for sun, rain, mosquitos and cooler weather. Bring warm sleeping gear, and don’t forget your Bible!  If you a Bibl we will be happy to provide you with one!

5. Food

We eat well!  Food is prepared by experienced personal – famous YMOC quotation – “Mom, the food was awesome, even better than yours”.   As the location is on beautiful Bouleau Lake which abounds with lots of fish, fishing is a highlight!  If campers wish they can enjoy their fish smoked or fried.

1st Family Camp: June 30 – July 6, 2013

Doing Family Right was founded by Dr. Dave Currie in early 2010. Dr. Dave’s passion is to see God’s truth shine in the lives of marriages and families as he tells the world; “you will never regret putting your marriage and family first.”

DFR is a non-profit ministry that puts all of their attention and focus into building-up marriages and families in today’s culture. We believe that God’s way is the best way and everything we do and teach finds its foundation in scripture and the timeless truths found within. We encourage, lift-up and challenge relationships to be the best they can be. We do this through our marriage weekends, weeklong camp experiences, and on-line resources like podcasts, articles, video teaching and so much more.

General description:
This incredible marriage-building week will be interlaced with evenings of personal spiritual growth. We will give you the opportunity to hear God again, to recognize his working in you and apply these biblical truths to your personal life, marriage, life and family.

Mornings:
Our Marriage enrichment material is called “Fusion 2:1” Maximizing your Marriage through the Fusion of Two Lives! It is designed to coach couples toward real Fusion, the week will be drenched with hard-hitting, timeless truths and heartwarming, practical help. The material and topics are fantastic for those married short and long, those preparing for marriage or even preparing for future relationships.

Evenings:
Our evenings at camp will be focused on experiencing God anew. Learning to hear Him in more depth, applying the truths of scripture to our lives as a result of the life-changing message of the gospel and the Holy Spirit’s empowerment. We’ll address spiritual disciplines, Men’s and Women’s issues and so much more.

Instructors:
David and Melissa McVety are a dynamic and relational couple with a passion to see marriages and families become healthier and stronger. David and Melissa have 4 children ranging from ages 18 to 2, their experiences have added incredible depth, insight and relate-ability to what they do and who they are. A pastor for 11 years to youth, families and adults, David has ministered to families and marriages of all demographics. Melissa has lead women’s groups, bible studies and spoken at women’s retreats and finds deep fulfillment in allowing the Holy Spirit to use her to speak into the lives of others. They are currently marriage and family speaker, teachers and educators. Their passion is to partner with churches and camps to positively impact marriages through their local communities.

Cost:
Family camp fees are as follows:

• $240 for campers 12 years and older
• $105 for campers between 4 and 11
• Free for campers under 4
• The maximum fee per family is $750.

What to bring:

Spare clothing, running shoes, modest swimsuit and towel, personal hygiene products, Bible and notebook, sunscreen and hat.

What not to bring:

Cell phones, iPods and other MP3 players, gaming devices, laptops or tablets, alcohol or narcotics, non-perscription medications, pets.

*We now offer early drop off for Day Camp at 8:00 am. $10 per day fee includes breakfast.

This camp has a few unusual features, which are worth noting: First, it runs from Monday evening till just after lunch on Friday; second, there will be a balance of study and play, with the study part coming in the form of 14 teaching sessions, handouts, on-site assignments–almost like a school; and third, its goal is to give the attendee the tools to dig further into the Scriptures in other areas.

This year’s subject will be “Panorama of Prophecy” and will be led by a very able teacher, Mr. Ted Hilton of Surrey. He will examine the following prophecy topics: Israel, Rapture, Tribulation, Millennium, Eternal State, Judgements, and others that will come up. Including: What is the Kingdom? What is the Church? What is transfertheology? What is imminency? What is the Rapture? What is the Great Tribulation? What is the MIllennial reign?

The sessions will be presented in two formats, namely, lecture and question and answer.

“Panorama in Prophecy” may be a life-changing and eternity-changing week for you. There are many positions and views on the future of Israel, the timing of the Rapture, what the Tribulation will actually look like, and so forth. Many godly teachers differ on each one of these. One of the first sessions will deal with accurate biblical terminology, ie., how to use the words of Scriptures to interpret the Word of God. Any Bible tools–hard copy or electronic–would be a huge help to the students, paper and a syllabus is provided.
